Training for professionals who perform tasks in the work environment, with possible exposure to ionizing radiation, according to the requirement of Annex VIII of NR-37 (Brazil).

Objetivo
Training of professionals with possible exposure to ionizing radiation, in accordance with the requirement of Annex VIII of NR-37 (Brazil).
Público-alvo
Professionals who perform tasks in the work environment, with possible exposure to ionizing radiation (Occupationally Exposed Person - OEP).
Metodologia
- Video classes organized in stages according to the subject.
- Exercises to fix the content, at the end of each stage, whose use will not be considered in the final grade.
- Final Test.
- Program:
a) introduction to radiation and radioactivity;
b) types of radioactive sources (natural and synthetic);
c) radiological quantities (units and quantities);
d) types of contamination (direct exposure, contact, inhalation and ingestion);
e) radiation risks associated with health due to the performance of its functions;
f) principles and objectives of radioprotection;
g) main instruments used in radioprotection;
h) dose limits and control (time, distance and shielding);
i) radiation detection and measurement (individual and area monitoring);
j) supervised area and controlled area;
k) PPE and EPC available and related to the present radiological risks;
l) right of access to dose value records for each OEP;
m) pertinent legislation (CNEN, NR-06, NR-15 and NR-37);
n) procedure in accidents and emergency situations;
o) notions of first aid;
p) transport, storage and radioactive waste;
q) final evaluation.
Certificado
The certificates will be sent by e-mail to participants who obtain an average greater than or equal to 7.0 (seven) in the Final Test and to fully complete the course.
